Theme parks are plentiful in a vibrant, culturally rich city like Bangkok, and for a new player entering the scene with no brand recognition, we faced a challenge. WOW wanted to open a theme park in the heart of Bangkok, in the bustling, trendy district of Ekkamai. But how could they attract visitors when they were an unknown brand in a competitive market?
They had the perfect ingredients: a unique IP, a prime location, and a clear goal. What they needed was a detailed, step-by-step plan to build awareness, get their name out there, and ultimately drive people through their doors.
That’s where MOST 2414 and Kolbase stepped in.
We devised a comprehensive strategy, with the first step focused on building brand awareness and ensuring people knew what WOW was all about. Beginning in June 2024, while it was in its soft-launch phase, we swiftly ramped up awareness campaigns as the Grand Opening date on July 1st, 2024, drew closer. The result? A highly successful launch, with impressive attendance numbers that translated into strong ticket sales once the park was fully operational.
With awareness established and the park officially open, the next challenge was to sustain the momentum from the Grand Opening. To do this, we leveraged our KOL and influencer marketing arm at MOST 2414, Kolbase, to find the perfect influencer for the park’s core demographic. That’s when we partnered with MyMateNate, one of Thailand’s most popular content creators. Through our KOL-focused unit Kolbase, we produced an engaging video where the park was seamlessly integrated into one of Nate’s signature challenge videos, amplifying the park’s reach and further solidifying its place in the minds of his millions of followers. We also ran constant social media ads on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with original contents created by our in-house production team, which yielded high engagement and view numbers.
