Why We Stop The Commission Based Model

Commission Based MOST 2414

It’s a while that media agencies are struggling to find new remuneration models. And it happened here at MOST 2414 as well.

We used to apply the old-fashioned, and quite dated, commission based model. That means we charge our clients XX% of commission fees on what they spent in media. Now, we have decided to stop the commission based model for all media buying services (paid search, content marketing, social media, and so on). The reason is simple: we don’t want to get paid on what our clients spend, we get paid for what we do for our clients, and for the added value we bring to them.

Between the most common current agency remuneration models (commission based, fixed rates, added valuable performance), MOST 2414 has picked a hybrid solution: Base Fee + Value Fee.

Following the model introduced by London based ID Commons, we are happy to introduce the STAR Model.
STAR stands for Shared Targets And Rewards, and it is an agency remuneration model in which the agency profit is determined by the value the agency generated for the client’s business on specific KPIs.

Learn more how the STAR model works. And which benefits it brings to clients.

We are confident that STAR established a new business relationship client/agency, founded on partnership, trust and transparency.

Partnership, Trust, Transparency.

No commission on your media budget. We get agency profit as soon we achieve your business goals.
